Buy Local, Eat Local

Myanmar Development Foundation has initiated piloting micro business model that can help and support most vulnerable local small businesses crippled by military coup as its brutal crackdown continues and showing no sign of slowing down its atrocity.

Individuals and small business owners are going through the most challenging time. Their businesses were destroyed lawlessly by police force sending small businesses onto the edge to rapid downfall.

We are concerned that without financial support and sustainable model, potential economic crush will impact the survival of civil disobedience movement and the public.

Micro business model is in conjunction with traditional donation process in which donors are donating through buying stuff from local businesses while we are injecting small amount of financial remedy to business owners to able to sustain and pass through the financial hardship until it becomes organic.

We would also like to encourage general public to buy more local products, and buy from farmer market. It is YOUR business. People own it. Small portion of profits goes into investing in more businesses, and helping them survive.
